Bridging the Gap Between the Physical and Energetic
A Workshop for Bodyworkers Beginning To Sense Energy
- how to seamlessly incorporate the energetic experience into your bodywork practice;
- how to release the client’s energy from your system and remain grounded;
- how to maintain your well-being when the bodywork triggers trauma or toxic-related frequencies in clients;
- how to non-verbally guide the healing process with your clients.
Your workshop was fitting and timely, and I jumped in as soon as I saw the notice, because I’ve been actively looking for an opportunity to learn more of a subtler type of work, possibly Reiki, and I like that your workshop was more of a general introduction and not necessarily about learning a ‘method’ but seemed like it could serve as a foundation for any kind of intentional treatment.
I also appreciated our discussions about spirituality, what it means to be a ‘spiritual’ person and the difference between lightness/resonating at a higher frequency vs. darker, denser, slower energy…
I appreciated the part about things coming to you when you are ready for it, and about listening to intuition.
The idea of intentionally clearing a space resonated with me. And the use of affirmations, and being aware of negative affirmations.
I’ve also used some of your energetic exercises, including the ‘zipping up’.
And I feel more inspired to improve my own energetic/emotional state, not just for myself, but to be a better example for my clients and to do the same work that I might recommend to them.
One way that I’ve visualized the experience of your workshop is that the information you presented and the discussions and experiential learning exercises, all laid down a first coat of primer – one of many, that will come before starting an actual painting. So it’s ok if not every little thing left a permanent impression, as long as I can be aware of what did leave impressions and how I can go about furthering my experiences on my own.
